Course Objectives

The goal of the ‘Music Therapy for Stress Management’ course is to learn about the therapeutic benefits of music in stress reduction, relaxation, and overall well-being. Participants will discover how music can affect physiological and psychological reactions and help gaining peace of body and mind. Participants will learn personalised music therapy skills to effectively manage stress in all aspects of life using a combination of theoretical understanding and actual practice. By the end of the training, students will have practical ways for incorporating music therapy into their daily routines, increasing resilience and coping mechanisms in the face of stressors.

  • Dr. Pooja Thacker: She is an author, changemaker, music therapist, Ayurved doctor and entrepreneur. As a changemaker, she is leading more than 50 initiatives to uplift the social, cultural and moral values of individuals and society as well as Women and Child Welfare projects. As a Gunje Gita trainer, she educates Gita Adhyay and nurtures moral education in individuals and society. She also leads Give Vacha Academy educational initiative.
